Let us focus on your money, while you focus on your mission.

The Nonprofit Team

Pam(left) and Carol(right) are here to answer your questions and provide your Nonprofit with professional investment management.

Your money should be working hard for you

  • Does your organization have money sitting in CDs, money markets, or the bank?
  • Is your Finance Committee comfortable managing money? Would they benefit from professional money management?
  • Do you have proper oversight of your accounts?
  • Does your organization have Restricted or Endowment Funds?
  • Can your money work harder for you?

We have always appreciated and valued the work of local nonprofits. We already work with a few nonprofits, make corporate donations, and our staff serves on Boards and/or volunteer with local nonprofits.

But we decided we could do more—by sharing our skills in investment management. We want to better help the nonprofits who work so hard to improve our world.

Pam Baumbach, CFP® is Director of the Nonprofit Division and Carol Boncelet is the Manager of the Nonprofit Division.

Let Mallard Financial Partners:

  • Provide professional management of your investment funds, customized to your needs.
  • Provide the opportunity to participate in multiple investment pools for your different cash needs, including insured CDs.
  • Invest in stock funds and bond funds, while considering your risk tolerance and cash needs. We will not invest in individual stocks.
  • Manage your Endowment Fund (if desired).
  • Ease the workload of your Finance and Investment Committees and provide continuity of investment philosophy for your investments.
  • Lower your reliance on volunteers making investment decisions.
  • Evaluate your portfolio regularly and re-balance your portfolio quarterly.
  • Provide quarterly reports, showing portfolio performance compared to relevant benchmarks.
  • Make regular presentations to your Board or Finance Committee (if desired).
  • Provide information to your supporters about donating appreciated stock/securities, planned giving, making qualified charitable distributions, and leaving legacy gifts.

Fees Matter

We offer discounted pricing for nonprofits, because we believe in the positive power of nonprofits. Our management advisory fees are calculated as a percentage of the portfolio’s value, charged quarterly. The annual fee will be 0.50% to 0.60% depending on the complexity of the portfolio. This is subject to a $50 quarterly minimum charge. For example, for a basic $50,000 investment portfolio, the annual fee will be $250.

Take The Next Steps

Our team will come to you, listen to your needs, and then craft a customized proposal. We can talk to your Executive Director, Finance Committee, or Board of Directors.
