Ed Mink, CFP®


Ed joined the Mallard team in May of 2008, received his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in August of 2009 and is a Financial Planning Advisor for many of Mallard’s clients. His focus at Mallard is on retirement planning, Social Security strategies, and taxation. He is an affiliate member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA).

Ed managed the retirement plans department of a local bank before spending over 30 years as an individual retirement plans consultant. Over that period, he also prepared personal and sole proprietor income tax returns. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Salisbury State University, where he majored in mathematics.

Ed and his wife, Patti, have lived in Cecil County, Maryland for over 35 years. They have two sons who are married and also live in Maryland. In addition to travel and learning, Ed enjoys music and motorcycles!
