Our Team

Mallard Financial Partners traces its roots back to Mallard Asset Management, which was founded by Paul Baumbach in 1996. Shortly thereafter, Paul joined up with Bill Starnes and the firm became Mallard Advisors. Paul and Bill ran Mallard Advisors out of their respective offices in Newark and Hockessin until 2013, when the Newark office formed its own independent firm: Mallard Financial Partners. The team at Mallard Financial Partners consists of three divisions: planning, investments, and administrative. Our broad sets of skills and knowledge complement each other and we continue to grow and improve with each passing year.
